Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of rain showers over the northwestern, coastal and al-Jzira areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 36/18, Daraa 36/18, Homs 34/17, Lattakia 28/17, Aleppo 36/17 and Deir Ezzor 41/21.
