ISIS vehicles destroyed in Raqqa, many Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists killed in Hama

Provinces, SANA- Syrian Arab Army units, backed by the Air Force, continued targeting positions of terrorist organizations in various areas across the country, killing more of their members and destroying a number of their dens and vehicles.

Raqqa

The Syrian army’s air force targeted gatherings and positions of ISIS terrorists near al-Rasafa city in the countryside of Raqqa province.

The strikes hit convoys of vehicles, some of which are armored and others equipped with machineguns, in the vicinity of al-Rasafa crossroads, a military source told SANA on Sunday.

Damascus Countryside

An army unit  foiled an attempt by an ISIS terrorist group to attack a military post to the southeast of Arenbeh Hill in the vicinity of al-Badyia (desert) in the eastern part of Damascus countryside.

The clashes with the terrorists ended with thwarting the attack and killing or injuring many of the terrorists, in addition to destroying two vehicles laden with big amounts of explosives and five others equipped with machineguns.

Hama

An army unit killed 12 Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists as it targeted their gathering in Morek town in the northern countryside of Hama province.

Two vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns were also destroyed in the operation.

Other army units clashed with terrorist groups linked to Jabhat al-Nusra who infiltrated into the surroundings of a number of military posts in the northern countryside of Hama, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
