Terrorist attacks hit several provinces, killing 5, injuring over 22 and damaging a hospital and a school

Provinces, SANA-Two civilians were killed on Monday and two others were wounded in terrorist attacks on Harasta suburb in Damascus countryside.

A police source told SANA that the terrorist organizations in eastern Ghouta targeted Harasta suburb with 5 rocket shells, killing two persons and injuring two others as well as causing material damages to properties.

Earlier, six civilians were injured in terrorist attacks with rocket shells on residential neighborhoods in Aleppo in a new breach of the cessation of hostilities agreement.

Aleppo

Two civilians were killed and 20 others were injured, some of whom in critical conditions, by rocket shells fired by terrorist groups that targeted a number of residential neighborhoods in Aleppo.

A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA Monday night that a truck driver was killed and another civilian was injured by rocket shells that hit al-Ramouseh neighborhood. The attack caused material damage to public and private properties.

Terrorist groups targeted al-Hamadaniyeh neighborhood with a number of rocket shells, injuring seven civilians, one of them in a critical condition, and causing material damage to the locals’ houses and properties, the source added.

Elsewhere in the province, a civilian was killed and six others were injured in Suleiman al-Halabi neighborhood when it was hit by rocket shells, the police source said, adding that three civilians were injured in al-Serian al-Jadideh neighborhood, another in al-Neel Street and a fourth one in al-Arqoub neighborhood.

On Sunday, 5 civilians were killed and 21 were injured by rocket shells and machineguns fired at the neighborhoods of al-Midan, al-Ramouseh, al-Neel St, Adounis, Bustan Zahra, Serian al-Jadideh and al-Sheikh Maqsoud in Aleppo city.

Idleb

In Idleb province, a baby girl was killed and a number of other civilians were injured in terrorist rocket shells on the besieged towns of al-Fouaa and Kefraya, located some 8 Km to the north of Idleb city.

Local sources in al-Fouaa told SANA that the attack in the town left a baby girl dead and other civilians injured.

In Kefraya, a terrorist group fired a rocket shell on a school in the besieged town, causing material damage to the school and nearby houses, local sources reported.

The locals of Kefraya and al-Fouaa have been besieged for the last two years by terrorist groups. The towns are frequently targeted with rocket shells, mortar rounds, machineguns and snipers, with the attacks leaving deaths and injuries among civilians, mostly women, children and elderly people.

Homs

A rocket shell fired by terrorist groups fell in al-Sabeel neighborhood in Homs city.

A source at Homs Governorate told SANA that the attack caused only material damage to public and private properties.

On Sunday evening, the terrorist groups fired three rocket shells on al-Arman neighborhood in Homs, causing material damage to a number of the citizens’ houses.

Hama

In Hama province, terrorists of the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” shelled al-Sqeilbiyeh city with rockets, damaging its national hospital.

A source at Hama Police Command told SANA that the terrorists fired a number of rocket shells on al-Sqeilbiyeh, located to the northwest of Hama city, causing material damage to houses and other properties of the locals.

The National Hospital of al-Sqeilbiyeh also sustained damage as it was hit by two of the rocket shells, the source noted.

Quneitra

In the southern Quneitra province, Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists fired three mortar shells on al-Khadami neighborhood in al-Baath city.

A source at Quneitra Police Command said that one of the shells, fired by the terrorists positioned in al-Samadaniya al-Gharbiya village, hit the building of Quneitra Health Directorate, leaving material damage only.
