Terrorists breach cessation of hostilities agreement 14 times in Aleppo and Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA- During the past 24 hours, terrorists have breached the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria 14 times.

Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim said in a statement on Thursday that the so called “Ahrar al-Sham and the Turkistani Islam breached the truce 10 times in Aleppo and 4 times in Lattakia.”

On Thursday, the terrorist organizations targeted with 21 rocket shells the neighborhoods of al—Hamadniya, al-Ashrafyia, al-Zahraa, al-Midan and al-Sulimania, Family House area and al-Farah School in Aleppo city.

The center asserted that the Russian air force did not target positions for groups which joined the cessation of hostilities agreement.

The towns which joined the cessation of hostilities agreement numbered 92 towns, while the number of the armed groups adherent to the agreement still 52 , the center clarified.

The center pointed out that Russian demining experts have dismantled 74 mines in al-Qaryatain village in the southeastern countryside of Homs province during the past 24 hours.

The agreement, which came into effect on 27 February, does not include Jabhat al-Nusra, ISIS terrorist organizations and other groups listed by the UN as terrorist organizations.
