New batch of food aid arrives in Deir Ezzor city

Deir Ezzor, SANA-About 865 food packages arrived in Deir Ezzor city on Sunday, said Deir Ezzor Governor Mohammed Kaddour al-Aynea.
The governor added that the aid was offered by World Food Program, saying that each package includes 10 kg of sugar, 5 kg of peas and 5 kg of beans.

He expected new amounts of food aid will be received during the coming period to start the distribution process to citizens in coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Deir Ezzor.

The city of Deir Ezzor is besieged by armed terrorist groups which prevent the citizens from receiving the food, medical supplies and fuel.
