Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain 4 to 6 degrees above average as the country
is affected by low air pressure accompanied with southwestern currents in the
upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will
be clear to partly cloudy in general and the weather will be warm in general and
misty in the eastern and al-Badiya areas as local rain showers are also expected.
The winds will be westerly of light to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be
low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus
28/12, Daraa 28/12, Homs 26/13, Hama 28/13, Hasaka 27/11, Lattakia 24/13, Aleppo 29/11 and Deir-Ezzor 31/15.
