Damascus, SANA- Tourism Minister Bisher Yazigi affirmed on Thursday that Syria has remained steadfast thanks to the sacrifices of its people and army against the terrorist war against it and the unjust sanctions imposed on it.
During a meeting with a Sudanese delegation comprising businessmen and owners of travel and tourism companies, Yazigi pointed out that the visits of popular delegations from all over the world reflect the opinions of people around the world and their conviction that Syria is more powerful and beautiful than ever.
The minister called on the members of the delegation to convey the real image of Syria to the Sudanese people, hoping that this visit will pave the way for activating cooperation in tourism, economy and agriculture.
For their part, the delegation members expressed happiness to be in Syria, stressing that they will work to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially in tourism.
The delegation arrived on Wednesday to Damascus in a visit that aims at enhancing tourism and trade cooperation between the two countries and creating investment opportunities for Sudanese businessmen in Syria.
