Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will rise to become around average as the country is affected by high air pressure accompanied by western wet and cold air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skis will be partly cloudy in general with a chance of rain showers over the southern and western areas.
The winds will be westerly of light to moderate speed. The sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/08, Daraa 17/08, Homs 15/06, Hama 19/07, Hasaka 16/07, Lattakia 19/11, Aleppo 15/07 and Deir Ezzor16/10.
