Damascus, SANA-The temperatures will remain around average or slightly higher as the country is being affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a wet air mass.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected over the coastal and northeastern areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will gradually rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected over al-Jazeera area.
Various amounts of rainfalls were registered in different Syrian provinces as follows: 40 mm in Hasaka, 25 mm in Sweida, 22mm in Homs, 13 mm in Damascus, 13mm in Lattakia, 10,6 mm in Hama, 3.8 mm in Daraa, 4 mm in Quneitra, 2mm in Aleppo.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/06, Daraa 15/06, Homs 14/06, Hama 15/07, Hasaka 14/05, Lattakia 18/11, Aleppo 14/04 and Deir Ezzor14/07.
