Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue the gradual rise to become from 6 to 9 degrees above average as the country is being affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be warm and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the wind will be southeastern with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 22/8, Daraa 23/9, Homs 20/7, Hama 21/8, Hasaka 20/7, Lattakia 23/13, Aleppo 20/8 and Deir Ezzor 22/8.
