Homs, SANA – Governor of Homs Talal al-Barazi said the opportunity is available for people in al-Rastan, Talbiseh and al-Houleh to have security restored to their areas.
He was speaking during meetings he held with some members of the Reconciliation Committee in Homs from areas in the northern countryside of the central province.
“Reconciliation is the way for appeasement and restoring security and stability to all areas in Homs countryside,” said the Governor.
“It’s everybody’s responsibility to defend the homeland. We need to cooperate because the homeland belongs to all of us,” he added.
Al-Barazi stressed that the army is capable of winning battles, citing recent military victories in various areas in Lattakia, Daraa and Aleppo.
The participants in the meetings affirmed that they support the army as it is performing its national mission to establish stability all over the country, stressing their keenness to have all mercenaries forced out from villages and towns in northern Homs.
