Tehran, SANA- What the Syrian people decide is the criterion of the work in regard with the future of Syria, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari said in a press conference on Monday.
Jaberi Ansari added that the mechanism of solving the crisis in Syria should be based on what the syrian dialogue lead to, that serves the interests of the Syrian people, affirming what the Syrian people determine will be the criterion of the work for all parties in the future.
He reiterated that neither Iran nor any other country could take a decision instead of the Syrian people for the future of their country.
Jaberi Ansari pointed out that the first issue to be taken into consideration when proposing the inter-Syrian dialogue is that the Syrian government should be one side and while the other should be “peaceful opposition” groups, which should negotiate the Syrian Government in a way that lead to aunching the process of dialogue, reconciliation and restoring security and stability to the country.
