Russia allocates USD 2 million to Syrians affected by terrorism

Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Moscow allocated USD 2 million to support the efforts exerted by the United Nations to provide humanitarian aid for the Syrians affected by terrorism.

“Upon the decision of the Russian government issued on December 16, a total of USD 2 million of the 2015 Federal budget will be allocated to the budget of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to cover the expenditure of the urgent aid provided to Syria’s locals and to repair the destroyed infrastructure, “the Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a Twitted.

The ministry added that it will inform the UNDP and the Syrian government with this attribution and it will coordinate with the Russian Finance Ministry to transfer the allocated funds.
