1500 food packages distributed to displaced families in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA-The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Hasaka completed on Thursday the distribution of 1500 food packages to displaced families from the southern countryside of Hasaka city which are currently living in makeshift residential centers.

Gharbi al-Mardod, head of SARC branch, told SANA that during this week, the branch distributed 412 heating stoves to displaced families.

In 2015, SARC branch distributed around 134,042 aid packages among arrivals and needy families in Hasaka city, Qamishli, al-Shadadi and Ras al-Ayn.
