Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop, yet remain higher than average as the country is still being affected by a low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department said in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in General; rain showers are expected over the coastal, northern and central regions and al-Jazira area.
The expected temperatures over some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 22/08, Daraa 21/09, Homs 22/09, Hama 22/09, Lattakia 23/19, Aleppo 21/07 and Deir Ezzor 21/09.
The winds will be western to northwestern of light to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of light amplitude.
On Monday, temperatures will remain around average, while the weather will be partly cloudy in general to rainy sometimes over several areas across the country.
