Damascus, SANA Temperatures continue to rise to become above average as the country is still being affected by a high air pressure accompanied by Northwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies are clear in general with some scattered clouds.
The winds will be of light speed and the sea waves will be of light amplitude.
The expected temperature degrees at some Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 23/08, Homs 24/08, Hama 25/09, Lattakia 27/ 14, Aleppo 22/07 and Raqqa 22/07.
On Sunday, temperatures will remain above average; the skies will be clear to partly cloudy, while they become cloudy over the Southern and southeastern region at night. Rain showers are expected there.
