Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will drop to become around average as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the south and accompanied by wet southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected in the southern and southeastern areas.
The wind will be southeasterly with a light speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to drop to become below average as the weather will be partly cloudy to rainy and local rain showers will fall in most areas and they will be accompanied by thunder.
Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours, the heaviest of which were in Sweida 12 mm, and in Daraa 6, 8 mm.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/11, Aleppo 22/8, Homs 22/7, Lattakia 27/14 and Hama 23/8.
