Damascus, SANA- Activities of the 38th session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) are set to kick off at the organization’s headquarters in Paris on Tuesday.
Syria will participate in the General Conference which be held from the 3rd to the 18th of November. The Syrian delegation includes Education Minister Hazwan al-Waz who is the head of the Syrian National Commission for UNESCO, Syria’s permanent representative at UNESCO Lamia Shakhour, Director General of Antiquities and Museums at the Culture Ministry Maamoun Abdulkarim, and Secretary of the Syrian National Commission for UNESCO Nidal Hasan.
