Provinces, SANA – Army units advanced in various areas across the country and confronted armed terrorists groups in other areas across the country during Tuesday’s operations.
In Damascus Countryside, army units destroyed terrorist hideouts in the farms of Mayda’a, al-Nashabiye, and Marj al-Sultan in the Eastern Ghouta, eliminating a number of terrorists from the so-called “Islamic Front” and “Islam Army,” while other terrorists were eliminated in Aaliya farms in Douma area.
Army operations in Wadi Ein Tarma resulted in the destruction of a hideout along with the terrorists, weapons, and ammo inside it, while army units continued pursuing terrorists in the farms north and east of al-Mleiha and near Tameco pharmaceutical company, inflicting losses upon them.
In Jobar, army units destroyed terrorist hideouts, eliminating a number of them and disposing of their weapons and equipment.
Army units continued operations in the wilderness around Assal al-Ward in al-Qalamoun area on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, inflicting heavy losses upon terrorists and destroying their vehicles and weapons.
Army units regained full control over a number of building blocks in al-Bado district and the southern part of UM Sharshouh village in Homs countryside, a military source told SANA.
The source added that other army units eliminated a number of terrorists in the villages of al-Ghanto, Abu Hawadit, Salam Gharbi, al-Habrah and Onq al-Hawa and destroyed terrorists’ cars equipped with heavy machineguns in the village of Arshouneh.
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists in al-Sharkasi Palace in al-Rastan and al-Sama’lil in al-Hula and Kherbet al-Maqatir in Hissayaa in the countryside.
Army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in the neighborhoods and areas of Hanano, al-Shaar, the Old City of Aleppo, al-Ansari, Bani Zaid, Alliramoun, al-Jandoul. Al-Kastilo, al-Haidariyehand al-Na’ana’i square in Aleppo city and in the villages of al-Zerbeh, Khan al-Assal, al-Sheikh Lutfi, Kashish, Hreitan, Marea, Kafer Naha, al-Jbeilah, Kafer Da’el, al-Mansourah, Handarat, Daret Izza, al-Owijah and Bianon in the countryside.
Units of the army thwarted an armed terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate from al-Mansourah village in Aleppo countryside towards a military checkpoint, killing and injuring all its members.
The army units also destroyed terrorists’ vehicles in al-Atareb, al-Sheikh Said, Tal Refa’at. Al-Sheikh Ahmad and Kwairs.
Army units killed many terrorists, injured others and destroyed a machinegun in an operation against their gatherings in the eastern neighborhood of Attman town, on Attman-al-Yadouda road and al-Yadouda-Kherbet al-Shahem road in Daraa countryside.
A source at the province said that other army units destroyed a den, killing all the terrorists inside in Inkhil town.

Meanwhile, 278 persons in Damascus, Homs countryside, Idleb, Deir Ezzor, Lattakia, Hama and al-Qamishli have turned themselves in to the competent authorities to settle their situation.
In al-Hasaka province, a hand grenade was detonated in al-Hasaka city by a terrorist who ran away.
A source at the police command in Deir Ezzor told SANA reporter that the explosion caused only material damage.
