Damascus, SANA- Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Fayssal Mikdad affirmed Syria’s undiminished support for the Palestinian cause which will remain uppermost among Syria’s priorities.
During his meeting with the Director of the Palestinian Liberation Origination’s politburo Ambassador Anwar Abdul-Hadi, Mikdad said ” We hope that Syria will soon emerge from its crisis to be able to stand side by side with Palestinian people in their resistance against Israel.”
For his part, Ambassador Abdul-Hadi reviewed with Mikdad the developments in the region and the efforts exerted by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to stop the Israeli plan that aims at dividing Jerusalem.
He condemned the utter silence vis-à-vis the violations of Israel authorities against Palestinians and Judaizaing al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
