Provinces, SANA – The army has stepped up operations against terrorist organizations, advancing in various areas across the country and making more gains, the latest was establishing control over the strategic Tal Ahmar (hill) in Quneitra.
Eastern Ghouta, Damascus Countryside
A military source said a new military operation has started against the armed terrorist groups in the eastern al-Ghouta in Damascus Countryside on Wednesday.
The source told SANA that army has established control over Rima Water Company and a number of city blocks in Jobar neighborhood.
Several command and communication centers were destroyed in the operation, and a number of terrorists were killed, according to the source.
Aleppo
Many ISIS and other terrorists killed in Aleppo
Army units killed and injured a number of ISIS terrorists in the surrounding of the Air force academy in the eastern countryside of the province Wednesday.
A military source confirmed to SANA the killing of a number of terrorists and destroying their ammunition and weapons in the neighborhood s of Al-Amerya , Bani Zaid,al-Rashedin, and Nan’ana square in Aleppo the city.
Additionally, army units killed numbers of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Kafar Da’el, Zerbe, Mansoura, Koweires and Kafar Hamra in the countryside of the province.
Further, the Syrian Army Air Force killed and injured many of ISIS terrorists, during air strikes against their dens and position, in Jebb al-Safa, Hamima, Qasir al-Ward, al-Nasriya, Wadi’a, Sousn hills, Dakouna, Sabe’een, al-Ne’am, Istabl and Faouri.
Hama/Idleb
Heavy clashes between the army units and terrorists took place on the outskirts of al-Ghab Plain in Hama province over the past 24 hours.
Field sources told SANA that at least 12 terrorists were killed in the clashes.
Those included Osama al-Sermani, Mohammad al-Najm, Mohammad Abo Hassan al-Bakri, Mohammad Radwan
al-Hassan, Najib Hassan Salim al-Sheikh, Mohammad Marwan al-Faraj, Ibrahim Latmin, Ahmad al-Azraq,
Abdul-Karim al-Maarati and Khaled Najm.
17 more terrorists, from the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” were killed in a special army operation at the foot of Sidi Ali Mountain in Khan Sheikhoun area in Idleb provice, according to the sources.
An army unit destroyed a tank for terrorists between al-Taman’eh town and Skeik village, which came under the army’s control three days ago.
The army units destroyed 10 armored and other vehicles, some equipped with heavy machine guns, in the surroundings of Khan Sheikhoun town.

Leaders within Ahrar al-Sham Movement killed in army ambush
An army unit killed at least 7 members of a terrorist group from the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” in al-Houleh area in the northern countryside of Homs province.
The army unit ambushed the terrorist group near al-Samalil village in southern al-Houleh, leaving all its members dead or wounded, a military source told SANA.
The group’s leader, Ammar al-Khodr, was identified among the dead, in addition to a Chechen terrorist nicknamed “Abo Anas.
The terrorist organizations’ social media pages acknowledged the death of the 7 members of the group ambushed, and said Ammar al-Khodr, who was confirmed dead, was the chief of Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement in al-Houleh.
The Movement’s military leader, named Abdullah Barakat, was also among the dead, according to the pages.
Army units eliminated a number of ISIS members and destroyed their weaponry and ammunition in Tadmour city (Palmyra) and Unk al-Hawa village to the east of Homs city.
The Army launched concentrated strikes against the dens and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Saan al-Shamali, al-Saan al-Aswad and Um Sharshouh in the northern countryside of Homs.
Many terrorists were killed and their ammunition were destroyed during the strikes.
Daraa
Terrorists flee towards Jordanian borders
An army unit destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun, killing all terrorists on board it, on the road leading to Atman town in the northern countryside of the southern Daraa province.
Another army unit killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and destroyed their arms and ammunition as it targeted their positions in Tafas city in the western countryside of the province.
A number of terrorists were also killed or injured and their weapons and equipment were destroyed in a precise army operation in Daraa city near the border with Jordan.
Meanwhile, local sources said dozens of terrorists have fled Daraa towards the Jordanian territories, confirming media reports, published over the last week, saying that thousands of terrorists have escaped after military operations have been stepped up in the area.
Deir Ezzor
100 ISIS terrorists killed near Deir Ezzor airport, others buried in mass graves in Mohassan
The army units defending Deir Ezzor military airport engaged in fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists during the past 24 hours.
Field sources told SANA that around 100 ISIS terrorists were killed or injured in the clashes, and that a vehicle with a heavy machine gun mounted on it was destroyed.
Meanwhile, an army unit destroyed a vehicle for ISIS terrorists on al-Mrei’iyeh road, killing 7 terrorists on board it.
The terrorist Hassan al-Hamdi, identified as one of ISIS leaders in Mohassan city, was among the dead.
Army operations, the sources said, also targeted ISIS important positions near the Municipality and Court of al-Boseira village in eastern Deir Ezzor, leaving a number of terrorists dead and 3 vehicles destroyed.
Local sources in Mohassan said ISIS has buried 93 of its killed members in mass graves in the city.
Hasaka
The army, in cooperation with popular defense groups, eliminated members of an ISIS group in the surrounding of al-Salihya village in al-Hasaka province.
A military source told SANA that units form the army and popular defense groups clashed with an ISIS group in the surrounding of al-Salihya village in al-Hasaka province.
The clashes ended up with the killing of 4 terrorists and confiscating their weapons.
