Provinces, SANA – Army units continued operations against terrorist groups on Friday, razing their dens in several areas and foiling their attack attempts in others.
Units of the armed forces killed and injured many members of armed terrorist groups in the areas of Kafrlaha, al-Serhaniyeh, Khirbet al-Tahta, Wadi Mira, al-Breij, Um Sharshouh in the countryside of Homs.
The terrorists’ weapons and equipment were destroyed.
Meanwhile, other army units thwarted an attempt by an armed terrorist group to attack Jabourin village, leaving its members dead and wounded.
In Damascus Countryside, the army units destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Saqba and Harasta, killing and injuring scores of terrorists, among them were Hani al-Jallad, Fayez Abdul-Hadi, and Shadi Jabbawi.
SANA reporter said that the army also targeted terrorists in many areas in the eastern al-Ghouta, killing and injuring dozens of terrorists and destroying their weaponry and ammunition. Terrorists Mouaz al-Jahmani, Radwan al-Rahhal (a terrorist group’s leader), Qutaiba Murjana and Khaled Barakat were identified among the dead.
The army unit clashed with terrorists in Douma and Joubar and killed scores of terrorists affiliated to the terrorist groups of “Shuhada Douma Brigade” and “Shabab al-Huda Battalions”. Terrorists Ghassan Khayti and Samer al-Salata were identified among the dead.
The army targeted a terrorists’ gatherings in al-Zabadani and killed all of terrorists in it. Other units pursued terrorists in many areas in al-Qalamoun and killed a number of terrorists, among them was Jamal Maybar.
The army units also targeted terrorists’ dens in al-Kahef valley in the southern countryside of al-Qseir in Homs countryside, eliminating many of them, in addition to destroying their equipment.
A military source told SANA that an army unit destroyed a terrorists’ den in the northeastern countryside of Hama, killing and injuring scores of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.
A military source told SANA that the army foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate near and attack military checkpoints in Maharda in Hama countryside, killing and injuring scores of them.
The source added that the army units also seized a vehicle loaded with weapons, ammunition and modern communication devices to the east of Hama city.
The army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in Jbaib and Om Walad towns in the eastern countryside of Daraa, destroying a lot of terrorists’ dens in the towns of Jasim, Da’el and Enkhil in Daraa countryside.
A military source told SANA that an army unit targeted an armed terrorist group’s members to the west of Bilal al-Habashi Mosque in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring many of them, in addition to destroying their equipment, while other units prevented terrorist groups from sneaking towards a military checkpoint in al-Karak neighborhood, leaving the terrorists dead or injured.
A military source told SANA that the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in the areas on Tafas-Otman highway, killing and inuring a number of terrorists.
An army unit destroyed a convoy of vehicles along with the terrorists inside them on the road between al-Ghariye al-Sharqiye and al-Hirak.
Another unit targeted gatherings of terrorists north of Mansharet al-Hajar and in the town of Atman, killing a number of them and wounding others.
In Idleb, the army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings to the west of Ma’aret Masreen, Bdama, Jadraiyeh, al-Burnos, Baidar Shamo at al-Zaowiyeh mountain and to the west of Abu Dahour, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
The army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in Ein Samour Village in the northern countryside of Lattakia, in addition to destroying a car loaded with ammunition and explosive devices.
A military source told SANA that other army units stormed terrorists’ gatherings in the villages of Qastal al-Sheikh Nouri, al-Dwra and al-Hilweh, destroying 4 cars equipped with heavy machine guns.
In Hasaka, terrorists blew up an explosive devices planted under a car in the city.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that the blast caused material damage only, adding that the authorities dismantled another explosive device weighing 5 kg of TNT in the same area.
In Quneitra, the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of al-Dawaya al-Sughra, Oufanya, al-Qahtanyeh, Harash Mamtana and the farms between Suda Braiqa and Kodna, killing and injuring a large number of terrorists.
