Yazigi: Tourism Ministry seeks to re-support stalled tourist projects

Homs, SANA- Minister of Tourism Bishr Yazigi on Monday met the investors and bankers from Wadi al-Nadara area in Homs and discussed with them the problems and challenges facing tourist facilities due to the current circumstances which Syria is undergoing.

Yazigi asserted, during the meeting held on the sidlene of al-Wadi Tourist festival 2015, that the ministry is seeking, in cooperation with the sides concerned, to re-supply the stalled tourist projects for the retur of the private sector as a basic partner in activating tourism.

The minister highlighted the importance of communicating with local community and providing the necessary facilities to the visitors and tourists, calling on the tourist companies to work for promoting al-Wadi area.

In turn, the investors presented suggestions on improving tourism services to attract more visitors.
