Hasaka police chief: Civil Register documents are secure after ISIS rocket attack

Hasaka, SANA – Hasaka police chief Maj. Gen Hasib al-Tahhan stressed on Saturday that all records, documents and devices of the Civil Register Department in Hasaka city have been saved from being burned and are secure.

ISIS terrorists targeted the Department’s building with rockets on Friday, causing a fire to break out on the third floor and damaging parts of the building.

Al-Tahhan affirmed to SANA reporter that members of the Internal Security Forces in cooperation with the Fire Department team in Hasaka have secured the documents and records and put them in a safe place, while the damaged building is being rehabilitated.
