Damascus, SANA – Nine civilians were killed Tuesday in a terrorist rocket attack on Arnous area in Damascus city.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that two rocket shells fired by terrorists positioned in Eastern Ghouta landed in Arnous Park, claiming the lives of 9 civilians and injuring 13 others.
Five women were among the dead, while the wounded people included 3 children, according to a medical source at al-Mouwasat Hospital where the victims were taken.
Earlier on Tuesday, rockets hit neighborhoods of al-Mezzeh, Masaken Barzeh, al-Mazra’aa and al-Jahez Park in Damascus city and Harasta suburb on its outskirts, leaving a civilian dead and 12 others injured.
