Hasaka, SANA – Hasaka Governor Mohammad Zaal al-Ali discussed with members of Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) joint water team the situation of the potable water projects under construction in Hasaka and al-Qamishli cities in the northeastern Hasaka Province.
The Governor underlined the role of the international organizations in providing the necessary equipment, particularly in the field of electric power and in supporting the service projects, in addition to securing a number of engines and electric generators for potable water projects in the province.
For his part, ICRC Delegate for Water Affairs, Yassin Mohammad Nour Bashir, pointed out to the ICRS’s interest in its contribution to providing pure water to residents in all areas of the province, in addition to supporting water projects through securing a number of electric generators, the latest of which that provided to Children Hospital in Hasaka city.
He pointed out the study of maintenance and reparation works in the National and Children Hospitals in Hasaka city, in addition to providing equipment to makeshift centers in the Province.
Al-Bahir clarified that water pump stations were also supplied with the suitable mechanical and electric equipment.
