Damascus, SANA – Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Fayssal al-Mikdad affirmed on Wednesday that Syria will defeat darkness powers and play its Arab role.
Al-Mikdad was talking during a reception gathering for Arab ambassadors in Damascus held by the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD).
Al-Mikdad cited the importance role of ACSAD in developing agriculture in the Arab countries through invention new types of wheat and other crops.
ACSAD Director Rafiq Ali Saleh asserted on the center adherence to scale up cooperation in carrying out searching programs in all Arab countries, particularly in dry or semi dry areas, mentioning Syria’s role in supporting the center.
Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Saleh Bosha stressed on the importance of the ACSAD projects in serving agriculture in dry areas in Arab world, expressing his country’s support for Syria in its war against terrorism.
