Beirut, SANA-Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, MP Talal Arslan stressed adherence to the Lebanese resistance, which doesn’t only defend Lebanon, but it also defends Syria as the conspiracy is threatening the whole pan-Arab existence.
“Today we are in the same trench from Beirut to Jabal al-Arab (Sweida) to the Golan, side by side with the resistance to defend Syria,” Arslan said Wednesday during a meeting with a popular delegation from Sweida province.
“The people of Jabal al-Arab represent our dignity, conscience, pan-Arab identity and Arabism….” Arslan continued, “They have always stood by Lebanon, therefore, it is our duty to stand by them in their battle in defending Syria and its national and social fabric and its Arabism under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.”
Arslan criticized the stances of some Arab countries towards Syria, decrying their attempts to convince the international public opinion that Iran is an enemy and that Israel is as meek as a lamb.
Arslan’s meeting came in solidarity with the Lebanese resistance and the martyrs who have been killed on the Syrian land.
