Provinces, SANA- Units of the Army and the armed forces on Thursday carried out more military operations against the foreign-backed Takfiri organizations across the country, destroying their dens and hideouts and killing scores of their members.
Idleb
The Army personnel defending the National Hospital of Jisr al-Shughour in Idleb countryside thwarted on Thursday morning a terrorist attack by terrorist organizations against the national hospital in Jisr al-Shughour, a military source told SANA.
Army members destroyed a large refrigerator truck loaded with huge amounts of explosives before reaching the wall of the hospital, killing scores of terrorists who were near the vehicle and their ammunition and weapons were destroyed.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media sites the death of dozens of their members in different areas in Idleb countryside, including Malek al-Hussein, Abd al-Latif Hasna, Mustafa al-Kaddah, Abu Mohamed al-Homsi and Mosa’ab Abu Abdo.
The Army air force destroyed terrorists’ dens in the area surrounding the National Hospital, al-Sukaria and Bazit in Idleb countryside and their vehicles in the southwestern entrance of Jisr al-Shughour city, killing and injuring many of them.
The Army’s Special Mission Forces carried out a series of ambushes and raids against terrorists’ dens and routes in al-Arbayin Mountain in Idleb countryside, destroying a number of their vehicles and killing and injuring many of them.
Army units carried out a series of operations, destroying dens and gatherings for Jabhat al-Nusra in Saraqeb, Ghania, al-Ma’laka and Ishtabrak in the province’s countryside.
Homs
The army’s air force killed tens of ISIS terrorists in a series of raids against their dens in Ber al-Bade’e, East Jazal and near al-Habal well to the south of al-Sikhneh in Homs eastern countryside.
The Army pursued remnants of ISIS terrorists who escaped from many directions to the east of Palmyra, destroying their dens in the surrounding of al-Sikhneh in Homs countryside.
Earlier, the army air force destroyed a convoy of vehicles belonging to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria(ISIS) on al-Sukhna/ Helihela axis in Palmyra countryside, While gatherings of ISIS in Jabal al-DHahek, Jabab Hamad and Twinan in the eastern countryside of Homs were also destroyed by air force.
The army also destroyed a number of vehicles for terrorists, killed many of them in al-Misherfeh, Masaada and Um al-Rish in Homs countryside.
Units of the army clashed with terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on the eastern outskirts of Palmyra city in the countryside of Homs.
The clashes resulted in the killing of a large number of terrorists and the destruction of their vehicles, weapons and ammunition, a military source told SANA.
Army units also carried out a series of special operations against ISIS groups and their movement passages in the area surrounding the Oil Pump Station/3/ and al-Sukhna town, 70 km east of Palmyra city, where many of ISIS members were left dead or injured and their vehicles, most of them equipped with heavy machineguns, were destroyed.
Few hours before that, the Army Air Force launched intensive raids against convoys of vehicles belonging to ISIS in Tal al-Dab’a, al-Tafha, Bir al-Rak and the area surrounding al-Sukhna town, leaving many of the vehicles destroyed or damaged.
SANA reporter in Palmyra city said an army unit clashed with ISIS terrorists in the area around Fakhr Eddin al-Maani castle in the western side of Palmyra city, killing and injuring many of the terrorists.
ISIS confirmed on its social media pages the death of dozens of its members, including teh Saudi Anas al-Nashwan, one of ISIS prominent “Sharia” leaders who recently appeared in a video tape showing the execution of 30 Ethiopians in Libya.
The Army also carried out intensive operations against ISIS dens in the villages of Rahoum, Abu Hwadit and al-Msheirfeh al-Shamaliye, killing many terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammo.
In the northern countryside of Homs, the army operations continued against dens for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Kfar Laha, Taldo and Tal Dahab in al-Houleh area, killing scores of the terrorists.

Aleppo
Meanwhile, units of the army and armed forces destroyed a booby-trapped car in the vicinity of Air force Academy in the countryside of the province, and thwarted an infiltration attempt by ISIS to the academy wall.
Damascus countryside
The army killed a number of terrorists and injured many others, destroying their dens in the surrounding of Sasa’a town which bordering villages of Quneitra eastern countryside.
A military source told SANA that a unit of the army sent heavy strikes against gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Khan al-Sheih farms, killing many of them.
Meanwhile, SANA field reporter said the army struck dens of so-called “Islam army” in al-Nashabeya town in al-Ghouta, killing Indonesian terrorist Nour al-Din Hajji Shamkhi, Saudi terrorist Abdul-Azzem al-Mikilli, Tunisian terrorist al-Fateh al-Barghouthi, and terrorists Basel Zerkli, Fares al-Dibs and Salim al-Rahal.
An army operation in Ein Tarma led to the killing of Palestinian terrorist Nidal Kaabea, Subhi Ghouneim and Adnan Salkeni while their weapons were eliminated.
Daraa
The army destroyed vehicles for terrorists, one of them equipped with a 23mm machine gun, killing many of them in Kherbat Ghazaleh in Daraa countryside.
Earlier, an army unit carried out a number of operations against gatherings ofTakfiri terrorist organizations in al-Karak neighborhood, al-Jumrouk al-Qadim and the area surrounding Abu Bakir and Bir al-Shaiyyah in Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraa province.
A number of terrorists’ vehicles were destroyed in the operations and scores of terrorists were killed and others were injured, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called Tawhid al-Janoub Brigade,
Mujahidi Horan Brigades and Madfa’aet Sijil Brigade.
An army unit also thwarted an attack by Jabhat al- Nusra terrorists against a military post in al-Hirak city in the northeastern countryside of Daraa, killing many them and injuring others, in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition.
Quneitra
In Quneitra western countryside, an army unit destroyed a number of the terrorist organizations’ vehicles and their supply routes, killing scores of terrorists in al- Hamidiya village.
Deir Ezzor
The army killed tens of ISIS terrorists, destroyed 4 vehicles equipped with 23mm machine guns near Deir Ezzor military airport.
Units of the army also struck dens of the terrorist organization, killing many terrorists in al-Erfi neighborhood and al-Rishdiya area in the city.
Hasaka
Units of the army and armed forces directed intensive blows against gatherings of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria ISIS terrorist organization in the western countryside of Hasaka province.
A source in the province told SANA reporterthat an army unit working in al- Siddiq roundabout carried out an operation against
ISIS dens and hideouts in Um al-Kebar village on the road between al-Siddiq roundabout and Abdul-Aziz mountain road, 30 km to the west of Hasaka city.
The source added that a number of ISIS terrorists were killed in the operation and their vehicles and ammunition destroyed.
Sweida
An army unit killed all members of an armed terrorist group after hunting them down in the area surrounding Dama village in the northern countryside of the southern Sweida province.
A military source told SANA that the operation also resulted in destroying the weapons which the terrorists had with them.
