Damascus, SANA – An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said Tuesday the French government stresses all over again its alliance with the Takfiri terrorist organizations in Syria and its full partnership in shedding the Syrian blood through the policy of distorting facts to hide the crimes of the terrorists who have been destroying civilians’ properties and horrifying safe people just like the atrocities committed in Aleppo at the beginning of the week, and the attack by Jabhat al-Nusra, which is considered as moderate by France, on Idleb city recently.
Commenting on the French Foreign Ministry’s statement, the source added in a statement to SANA that that the French Foreign Ministry ignores UNSC resolutions, that consider Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations, through defending areas that are controlled by these terrorist organizations.
“The French Foreign Ministry ignores the right of the legitimate government in Syria to combat terrorism and defend its people”, the source added.
Regarding the French government, which claims crying over the humanitarian situation in al- Yarmouk Camp, the source said that It has become quite obvious to all that terrorism is the cause of the civilians’ humanitarian suffering and that the Syrian government is assuming its responsibilities to provide all sorts of help to residents of the Camp whether Syrians or Palestinians.
Earlier this month, ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations assaulted Yarmouk Camp, which hosts Palestinian refugees and Syrian citizens, attacked and robbed houses, committed mass killings among civilians and held others in captivity.
The latest of such crimes took place when terrorists killed and decapitated 5 people and shot dead two young men under the residents’ eyes.
The source added that France, which is shedding crocodile tears on residents of the Camp, is historically accountable for the Nakba (calamity) of the Palestinian people through its major role in founding the Zionist entity and providing all sorts of support to it, particularly supplying it with potentials for producing nuclear weapons to be the spearhead of the western colonist project as to subjugate people of the Nation and loot their wealth.
The source concluded, “The policies of the French government is an outcome of the deeply-rooted colonialist mentality, which takes mottos of democracy and humanitarian rights as a mask to cover its cheap objectives at the expense of nations’ sufferings, thus it has lost its credibility.”
