Damascus, SANA, Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Bassam Sabbagh discussed Sunday in a telephone call with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein the terrorist attacks, northern Syria.
Sabbagh conveyed to Minister Hussein the ongoing developments in Syria in light of the terrorist attack by the terrorist al-Nusra Front and its affiliated organizations northern the country.
Sabbagh thanked his Iraqi counterpart for his country’s position in support of Syria, its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and appreciated Iraq’s efforts in supporting Syria in the war against terrorism, noting that these terrorist attacks aim to spread chaos and undermine security and peace in the region.
For his part, Minister Hussein confirmed his country’s solidarity with Syria in confronting terrorist groups.
