President al-Assad issues three laws to enhance task of tourism sector

Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday issued three laws related to the tourism sector, aiming to develop work mechanisms in this domain, as Law No. 27 grants unlicensed tourist establishments subject to investment and that have not reconciled their conditions two years to reconcile their conditions and obtain the tourism license at the classification level that it achieves.

Law No. 28 grants workers at Dummar Tourism and Hotel Training Center compensation for the nature of their work in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of Legislative Decree No. 6 of 2022, while Law No. 29 establishes a new regulation for the tourism guide profession and the conditions for practicing it as it is an intellectual profession that contributes to highlighting the civilized image of Syria.
