Lattakia-SANA- Under the patronage of President Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, a new batch of cadets from the Naval Academy was graduated today.
On behalf of the President, Chief of the General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces, General Abdul Karim Mahmoud Ibrahim sponsored this celebration.
General Ibrahim delivered a speech, conveying to the graduates the congratulations of President al-Assad and his heartfelt wishes for their success in performing the national tasks that await them in the fields of work and giving and the arenas of honor and pride.
The General stressed the importance of military academies in training student officers, pointing out the necessity of continuous acquiring of knowledge and developing capabilities and skills.
