UN: Status quo in northern Gaza unlivable

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Muhannad Hadi, said that the situation in northern Gaza Strip is miserable, and that the area is not fit for life due to the war of extermination waged by the Israeli occupation, stressing the need to stop the aggression.

UN News Center quoted Mr. Hadi as saying after his visit to an UNRWA school in Gaza city, which is sheltering hundreds of displaced people in Gaza: “what I saw was very different from what I saw in northern Gaza in September”.

“At this school, I have seen families and people living on top of each other. It is unbearable here. I can’t imagine how those people are surviving,”

“There were 500 people in this school in September, and now there are more than 1,500 people. There is shortage of food. The situation is unbearable. Sewage water is everywhere. Waste is everywhere. The place has garbage everywhere.”

Mr. Hadi pointed out that he heard horrific stories from the people he met in northern Gaza, indicating that no one can bear what the victims of this aggression are going through, which must be stopped.
