President al-Assad issues decrees appointing new governors for five Syrian provinces

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday issued decrees on appointing new governors for the provinces of Deir Ezzor, Daraa, Lattakia, Hama, and Quneitra.

Decree No.255 appointed Mr. Munhal Nader Hanawi as Governor of Deir Ezzor Province, and Mr. Eng. Asaad Yazid al-Toukan as Governor of Daraa Province.

Decree No.256 terminated the appointment of Mr. Amer Ismail Hilal as Governor of Lattakia Province, to be replaced by Mr. Dr. Khaled Walid Abaza for the same position.

Decree No.257 terminated the appointment of Mr. Maan Sobhi Abboud as Governor of Hama Province, to be replaced by Mr. Eng. Kamal Abdul Rahman Barmo for the same position.

Decree No.258 terminated the appointment of Mr. Engineer Moataz Abu Al-Nasr Jamran as Governor of Quneitra Province, to be replaced by Mr. Dr. Tony Aziz Hanna for the same position.
