Damascus,SANA-Syrian Scientific Olympiad team gained seven bronze medals and three certificates of appreciation at the Asian Pacific Mathematical Olympiad (APMO) , that organized by Brazil “remotely” on March 14.
Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement that the bronze medals were won by Mohammad Muzahim from Damascus, Shafiq Bara (Damascus), Al-Laith Shahat (Aleppo), Mohammed Fajjal ( Aleppo), Mahmoud Mohammad Asad (Aleppo), Haidar Qasim from Homs, and Ibrahim Al-Awis from Aleppo.
Students who received certificates of appreciation are Aziz Hanna from Homs, Semaan Afrim and Muhammad Usta from Aleppo received certificate of appreciation.
This is the 14th participation of the students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in the Asian Mathematical Olympiad, where it ranked 20th.
