Lattakia, SANA- Gabala troupe presented on Thursday evening, a dance show entitled “From Ugarit to the world” on Jableh Roman theatre, Lattakia province.
The event, held in cooperation with the Directorate of Tourism in Lattakia, and opened with the oldest piece on the triangular musical scale, the hymn “Nigal” and shows of oriental, folk and contemporary dance, folklore and diverse heritage in Syria
In addition to presenting performances of the ancient heritage of India, Spain and other cultures of other peoples associated with the ancient Syrian civilization by commercial and cultural relations.
Troupe leader Afaf Abdullah highlighted the importance of this show as an idea of cultural and cognitive communication among all human beings with different cultures and arts, and underlined that the aim of this show is to confirm that the Syrians have an ancient civilization, and presented to the world the most important civilizational achievements such as numbers, musical scale and Alphabet.
