First Youth Forum for Syrian expatriates in Brazil seeks to strengthen links of the younger generation with their homeland

Brasilia-SANA-First youth forum for Syrian expatriates in Brazil, held at the Syrian embassy in the capital Brasilia, discussed on Thursday ,ways to strengthen ties between the younger generation of Syrian community in Brazil and their homeland, Syria.

The Forum touched upon the latest developments in Syria, especially in the political, economic, tourism fields, relations between Syria and Brazil and the role that the Syrian community relies on the Syrian embassy in Brasilia.

The youth drew attention to the challenges and obstacles related to strengthening ties with their homeland Syria, stressing the importance of continuing these ties and transferring them to the next generation

For her part, Syrian ambassador to Brazil Rania al-Haj stressed the Syrian leadership’s interest in strengthening the relations of the Syrian community around the world with their homeland.
