Damascus, SANA- Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, President Bashar al-Assad, has addressed the personnel of armed forces on the 79th anniversary of the Syrian Arab Army Day.
“I salute you, our brave army forces, I send greetings to you full of love, pride and honor on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of our Syrian Arab Army, the owner of ancient glories, solid heroism and honorable stances that will remain in front of our eyes, rooted in our consciences, a beacon and a supreme value for all successive generations,” President al-Assad said in the speech.
“Our beloved homeland is witnessing a new phase which is construction and giving, and it is confidently moving on the path of victory and liberation. Let us work together with all our strength and determination to consolidate the foundations of our victory, boost the pillars of our stability, and restore security to every inch of our beloved Syria. Let us contribute to advancing the wheel of development, progress, and construction in the service of the homeland and the citizen who deserves a lot from us”, President al-Assad added.
