Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Palestinian Education Ministry said Tuesday that 8,672 students were martyred and 14,583 were injured in Gaza Strip and the West Bank since the beginning of Israeli occupation aggression on the Strip on October 7th.
“The number of students martyred in the Strip has reached 8,572, and the injured has reached to 14,089, meanwhile 100 students were martyred, 494 were injured, and 349 others were arrested in the West Bank”, Wafa Agency quoted Education Ministry as saying in a statement.
The statement added that 497 teachers were martyred and 3402 were injured in Gaza and the West Bank, while 353 schools and universities and 65 UNRWA schools were destroyed and sabotaged in Gaza and 133 schools have been used as shelters.
