Mikdad, UAE counterpart discuss enhancing relations between the two countries in various fields

Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad discussed Saturday with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, during a phone call, bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the situations in the Arab region and the world.

The two ministers stressed the importance of strengthening relations between Syria and the UAE in various fields, and continuing bilateral meetings between the two sides to discuss these aspects of cooperation in all their aspects.

On the other hand, the two ministers pointed to the serious complexities facing international relations, as well as the issues that must be addressed on the Arab scene.
