Damascus,SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday received Iran’s acting Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri Kani, as talks dealt with bilateral ties and latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories as well as regional and international files of common interest.
President al-Assad reiterated that resisting the occupation in all its forms is a fundamental principle and a strategic choice as the resistance has always been the right track in confronting the occupiers.
“Whenever the occupation approaches its failure in front of the steadfastness of the resistance men, it increases its bloody violence”, President al-assad added .
Minister Kani, in turn, said the relation binding the two countries will remain deeply rooted and strategic, as they are always been based on firm principles and common interests.
