A play dubbed “our folklore” reflects diversity of Syrian heritage at al-Hamra Theatre, Damascus

Damascus,SANA- Directorate of theaters and music, in cooperation with the Ajyal troupe, held a performance titled our folklore (folklorna) in the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, at al-Hamra Theatre, in Damascus.

During the show,30 young men and women, presented a group of traditional folk dances with high technique and elaborate performance, reflecting the richness and diversity of the Syrian heritage.

The show consists of a group of folklore sketches, each one representing a geographical area from different and diverse regions of Syria, Director of the Ajyal troupe, Majd Ahmed, told SANA.
