Russian MFA: Western media muted coverage of Crocus City Hall attack

MOSCOW, SANA-Western governments have ordered their media to suppress coverage of the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall, and not give a full picture of what happened there, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

“They pointed out that it’s unacceptable to show any sympathy or humanity towards the Russian people. The West’s attempts to distract the world’s attention from the real masterminds and beneficiaries look particularly ruthless in light of strict orders to the media not to cover the actual scale of the tragedy.” The ministry added in a statement Monday, according to RIA Novosti.

On the evening of March 22nd, a terrorist attack targeted the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk city near Moscow, killing 145 citizens, including several children, the perpetrators of the attack were arrested the next day.
