Int’l Parliament for Safety and Peace FM: Terrorists committed heinous crimes in Syria and Iraq

Beirut, SANA- The International Parliament for Safety and Peace Secretary Minister for Foreign Affairs Haitham Abu Said affirmed that terrorist organizations had committed heinous war crimes in Syria and Iraq and used internationally prohibited weapons with the connivance of officials in several countries.

Abu Said added in a statement on Wednesday that Middle East is currently gripped by a “grave and gathering security problem”.

Commenting on what Western states like to dub as “moderate opposition”, Abu Said said that calls for arming it in order to mount military attacks against the government in Syria are disastrous because of these “oppositions” backgrounds and connections with terrorist international entities infamous for their terrorist record.

He pointed out that the current US administration should back down on this “deadly mistake” and take bold measures especially that it is “always trumpeting that it is fighting terrorism and honors human rights.”
