Muscat, SANA-Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi affirmed that the American attacks on sites in Syria and Iraq threaten the safety and stability of the region.
The Omani News Agency quoted Al Busaidi as saying on Sunday that the Sultanate of Oman considers that launching such military attacks on sites in Syria and Iraq would threaten the safety and stability of the region, and would complicate efforts to find solutions to the challenges facing the region.
The Omani Foreign Minister indicated that his country is following with great concern the continuing escalation in the region without a solution or stop to the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, which has caused dozens of victims, most of whom are children and women.
Minister Al-Busaidi added that the stance of the Sultanate of Oman is that the only solution lies in the recognition of the independent Palestinian state and the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from all the occupied Palestinian territories.
