Russia warns of NATO maneuvers near its borders

Moscow, SANA- Moscow warned about the consequences of the maneuvers of the countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) near the Russian border.

“These maneuvers have a clear provocative nature, as they stipulate that a military group composed of a thousand people from countries in NATO and Sweden will conduct training over a period of several months on the Russian border from Norway to Romania” Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, said in a statement.

The spokeswoman added that NATO does not hide that the goal of the maneuvers is to practice missions to repel the so-called Russian threat.
