Syria’s delegation to 21st International Meeting under Astana format meets Russian delegation

Astana, SANA-The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic to the 21st International Meeting on Syria under Astana format, headed by Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Bassam Sabbagh, met the Russian delegation, headed by Russian President’s Special Envoy for Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev.

During the bilateral meeting held in Astana, the two delegations discussed the agendas of the International Meeting and coordination of the positions of the two parties on the topics on the agenda of the International Meeting.

The 21st International Meeting on Syria started activities on Wednesday morning in the Kazakh capital, with the participation of the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic and the delegations of the guarantor states of the Astana Process (Russia, Iran and Turkey).
