New York, SANA- Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, said that the Israeli occupation is committing heinous atrocities in Gaza Strip and deliberately trying to make it a place unfit for human life.
Mansour added in a speech during the second session held by the General Assembly of its tenth emergency special session regarding the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, that what is going on in Gaza are brutal crimes, war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
Our children who were martyred or orphaned are not collateral damage, but rather they are another generation that fell victim to the Israeli occupation”, Mansour said.
He stressed the need for a ceasefire in order to end the massacres committed against innocent people, including children, and to address this humanitarian catastrophe.
