Syria, China discuss boosting bilateral cooperation in social projects

Damascus, SANA- Syria and China have discussed joint cooperation prospects and ways to develop them in the fields of training and exchange of experiences in the domain of social projects and programs.

That came during a meeting that brought together Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Louai al-Munajjid and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Damascus, Shi Hongwei.

 Minister al-Munajjid affirmed the importance of successful Chinese experience in managing many files related to social fields.

He expressed the Ministry’s desire to benefit from this experience with regard to training and managing the social system, in addition to seeking to establish a social knowledge base that would pave the way for a true Chinese-Syrian social and economic partnership.

He stressed the depth and strength of relations binding Syria and China in all fields, expressing appreciation for China’s standing by Syria in international forums and providing humanitarian and relief aid to the people affected by the earthquake catastrophe which hit Syria last February.

In turn, the Chinese ambassador highlighted his appreciation for the Syria’s positions that always support Chinese issues.

The Ambassador stressed the Chinese government’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in several fields and in a way that contributes to improving economic relations between the two friendly countries.
